I come listening to this song every day, not only because of the quarantine. Interstellar: Calatorind prin univers. What I liked about the movie: 1-amazing film making from the cinematography, sound, visual effects. etc.
2-the main plot idea is interesting, having to look for another planet, to move through time and manipulate it. Also I think using the concept of wormhole, singularity and relativity was cool even thu we don"t know so much about them.
what I didn"t like about the movie was mainly related to the script writing:
1- so humans could invent amazing science stuff and go through wormholes and send astronauts into different planets to investigate other possibilities of living. yet they couldn"t save the planet from dust and dead soil! I think Nolan should"ve thought of a bigger problem than that (even zombies are more realistic)
2- I think Nolan had a great potential idea that he didn"t bother to give us smart reasoning for it. the script was very vague about the details. for example, the characters kept saying "solve the equation. quantum data. set the probes" but with no more information about the actual science. it"s like Nolan telling us to not to concern our minds with the details and look at the bigger picture. but that is not Nolan"s style! in fact Nolan is all about details. so I was disappointed.
3- McConaughey was supposed to get to space to help getting the other crew. That"s it. how did he end up solving "the equation. and what kind of "quantum data" was he transmitting to his daughter that solved the entire problem. how did it become so damn easy!
4-McConaughey"s daughter was mad at him for years because she didn"t understand what was he doing and why did he leave her. yet she grew up to do exactly what he is doing. even working with the same professor ! but still refuses to talk to her father!
5- so much focus on McConaughey"s daughter and no focus on the son at all. even McConaughey him self didn"t care about him. even when McConaughey finally woke up at the end of the movie he didn"t ask about him. so why add him to the script at all. it could"ve been one daughter and thats enough.
6-a lot of in the last minute scenarios. when they got to the water planet they were minutes late to save that astronaut. when they got to Dr. Mann they saved him in the last minute. when they found McConaughey, they saved him when his oxygen supply was minutes to finish. when McConaughey finally woke up, he caught his daughter in her last minutes. Michael Cane"s character spit the big secret the last minute of his life. when the big storm hit McConaughey"s house and his family got in the car to leave for good, McConaughey"s daughter put everything together in the last minute and knew it was her father who was her ghost and saw the watch. just too much of that !
7-the characters where out of context a lot. first there was McConaughey, who was supposed to be the commander in chief, yet the other crew members literary gave him lectures about the most basic things for an astronaut like wormholes! OK I get that Nolan wanted to explain to the audience, but was this the best way! then, there was Hathaway, who was strong, strait to the point and smart. then it turned out she is a hopeless romantic and actually believed that love might be bigger than science and all other forces. and when she said that, no one told her to shut up. they actually listened!
8- so McConaughey used to be NASA"s best pilot, yet they asked him how did you know about us. then they offered him the job instantly after he showed up because they don"t have a better pilot. couldn"t they approach him and ask for his help. another thing with NASA, they claim to be a top secret yet they are a couple of hours away from McConaughey"s house, with huge obvious building and a fence ! not even underground!
9- after McConaughey detached from the wormhole, how unrealistic is to find a tiny human floating in the space. remember George Clooney in gravity? once you are floating there that"s the end for you I"m afraid. I thing the movie should"ve ended when he sent his daughter "the equation" cant revolve my head with this secret equation still)
10-so finally McConaughey reunite with his daughter who was the only thing kept him going, and all he gets with her is two minutes where she tells him to go to Hathaway. not even introduce him to her family or talk to him a little bit more! and he actually leaves!
11- McConaughey"s daughter tells him to go to Hathaway who is waiting alone in that planet. so how did she knew that? and why no one saved her then.
12- the movie displays the end of the world rather peacefully. if there was no food and no army, people would kill each other.
13- Why was the water sleep chamber of Dr Mann full of dust ? his planet is all frozen, where did the dust come from?
14- How is Romilly, who waited 23 years for McConaughey and Hathaway to get back to the ship, not totally insane by now. 23 years of just you in a chamber doing nothing. first he will forget all his science knowledge, second he will go crazy just like Dr. Mann did.
15- technology in the film works only when Nolan wanted it to work. for example, McConaughey was sending and receiving information to/ from the robot through the wormhole, but he couldn"t ask the robot to send message to earth to tell his daughter about the information. he had to do it via morse code and throwing books.

Yeah ok, so the station isn"t named after him. He went into space to try to save the human race then sacrificed himself by jumping into a black hole, but the station isn"t named after him. It"s named after his daughter. Ok cool, you don"t need to fucking laugh at him though.

This guy was breathtaking in true detective season 1. Interstellar calatorind prin univers subtitrat in romana. This movie is a wonderful blend between science and fiction. Not just your run of the mill SCI-FI action flick, this wonderful event is a touching love story as well.
It"s so refreshing to see something on the big screen that"s not a rehash of something old; especially in the SCI-FI genre.
This movies" visuals are epic when need be and realistic when need be.
The representation of a wormhole is second to none in the history of SCI-FI. Truly astounding in form, function and theory.
The most wonderful part of this movie is the graphics are used to enhance the story, they aren"t THE story.
Truly a wonderful cinema experience. Highly recommended.
